What do we do?
Sport 4 Life (S4L), under contract with the Stockfield Community Association, has been delivering a programme of sporting activities for the children and young people of the Stockfield Estate, Acocks Green, since May 2007.
Sessions are designed to be fresh, fun and motivating, as well as educational, and have included a whole range of professionally instructed sports including football, basketball, netball, badminton and athletics to name but a few.
What have we achieved?
A run-down and un-used youth pod has been renovated into a thriving base for youth activities in the area; over 60 children have enjoyed and benefited from our free sessions; and constructive activity is replacing restlessness in the estate.

What's next?
Sport 4 Life UK hope to reach out to even more young people in the area, through incorporating new 'Street Dance' and 'Street Cheer' sessions along with more evening sessions on the park MUGA- making use of our new Portable Floodlights. We also look forward to the 'Stockfield Fun Day 2008' which will involve a World Cup Football Competition, a Human Table Football, Penalty Shoot-outs and even a Tug Of War Competition!
